Socialight is seeking an exceptionally talented Cocoa / Objective C developer to work in our Manhattan office or remotely. This is a freelance role, with the possibility of transition to a long-term position.
Socialight is an urban navigation service, helping people connect with places and people in their cities using mobile phones. You’ll be working on building the next generation of mobile social software which will allow users to discover, communicate and share media, messages and information.
We’re looking for someone who like challenges, is remarkably detail-oriented, is highly competent and multi-faceted and loves creating applications designed for use by actual human beings. A good design sensibility and a sense of humor always helps.
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Apple Mac product development experience.
- Extensive experience programming in Cocoa / Objective C
- Web Services (SOAP, REST, XML-RPC)
Desirable
- Knowledge of the intricacies of developing for mobile devices
- CVS/Subversion
- MVC Architecture
